Consultant DER Test Pilot Support for Special Type Certification Projects
Certification and Delivery of the World's first B737-700 Flex-Combi
As an approved supplier of DER test pilot services to Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services and their subsidiary PEMCO Conversions, AAG supported the development and certification of the worlds first B737-700 Combi-Freighter from initial testing through STC certification and beyond. In August of 2020, AAG delivered the first aircraft to the launch customer, Texel Air based out of Bahrain.

Phoenix Air Group's Cargo Door Flight Certification Program
In July of 2021 we provided DER test pilot services to our customers, Avenger Aerospace Solutions and Phoenix Air Group, leading to issuance of an STC for their Gulf Steam III Cargo Door modification project.
Developmental Test Pilot Support and Engineering Solutions for Tomorrow's Technologies
MagniX's All Electric Caravan
In May of 2020, the world's first all electric eC208 Caravan took flight for the very first time with our test pilot at the controls. Our test pilot completed all the additional developmental flight tests conducted on the prototype aircraft.
Eviaiton's Alice Aircraft - The Worlds First All-Electric, Commercial, Twin-engine, Commuter Aircraft
Allied Approach Group was a contractor to Eviation providing test pilot and instrumentation engineering support for the Alice aircraft program. Alice was a clean sheet, new technology, proto-type aircraft. It was the world's first and only all-electric, twin engine, fly-by wire, FAR Part 23 commercial aircraft ever built.
In September of 2022, Eviation and Allied Approach Group made aviation history when Alice took flight for the first time with Allied Approach Group's test pilot at the controls.

2023 Society of Experimental Test Pilot - Iven C. Kincheloe Award Winner
In 1958, The Society of Experimental Test Pilots established the Iven C. Kinchelow Award in memory of Captain Iven C. Kincheloe, USAF. The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding professional accomplishment in the conduct of flight-testing by a test pilot member. It is the highlight of the annual Awards Banquet and is the most visible manifestation of the Society's contribution to the aviation community.
In 2023, Steven Crane of Allied Approach Group was awarded the Kincheloe Award for his work and first flight of Eviation's Alice Aircraft.
Principal, Chief Business Development and Finance Officer
Terry is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She earned her Master of Business Administration from California Lutheran University.
In March 1992, Terry was the first woman selected for assignment to EA-6B Prowlers directly from the Naval Aviation Training Command; she was one of the first women in the United States Navy to receive orders to a tactical jet, carrier based combat squadron. Terry was an EA-6B mission commander, earned her functional check flight qualification, and flew over 70 combat missions as part of Carrier Air Wing Three over Bosnia and Iraq between 1994 and 1995. After completing her combat tour, Terry served in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Operations Briefing Division at the Pentagon, and subsequently managed the United States Navy's Domestic and Foreign Service College and Fellowship programs at the Bureau of Naval Personnel in Washington, DC.
Terry has over 20 years of experience associated with the financial services industry as a financial advisor, financial literacy advocate, pro bono planner, guest speaker, or educator. In 2004, she founded her financial planning practice, BradfordCrane Company. Terry is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL™, community volunteer and mentor, Financial Planning Association® webinar host, and an adjunct faculty member for California Lutheran University School of Management.
Steven Crane
Principal, Chief Technical Officer
Steve is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's in Physics and a Master's in Electrical Engineering. A former naval aviator and graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School, he has been involved in military and commercial flight testing and certification programs for over 20 years.
His extensive experience in aircraft development and certification work includes: jet engine programs with General Electric and Rolls Royce, aircraft development programs with Eviation and MagniX, and aircraft certification programs with Boeing, Mitsubishi, and PEMCO.
He holds multiple aircraft type ratings with over 8,500 hours in over 70 different types of aircraft. He is a current A&P mechanic with Inspector's Authority and an active DER test pilot.
In September of 2023, he was awarded the Iven C. Kincheloe award by the Society of Experimental Test Pilots for outstanding professional accomplishment in the field of flight testing. The award was direct recognition from test pilot peers for outstanding contribution to Eviation's Alice flight program while acting as test pilot. Past recipients include such notable test pilots as Scott Crossfield for the X-15 program, the Mercury Seven Astronauts, and the Apollo XI Astronauts just to mention a few.
